My BP 1675 GMT Master arrived with a very loose bezel. Put my arm, up in the air and back down and the GMT hour has moved 3 hours. It rattles too. I prised the bezel off and found just a thin plastic partial ring as shown in the pic. I'd like the GMT feature to rotate and hold position so I can tell the time overseas as intended.

A few days ago I received a 1675 root beer I bought from a dealer off the forums. Yesterday I was talking with my local watchmaker who specializes in. The original GMT Master watch has a 24-hour display fourth hand complication directly linked to and displaying the same time zone as the standard 12-hour hand. This GMT hand enabled the crews to set the watch to GMT or another time zone, and, using the rotatable 24-hour scale bezel, set to the correct offset, a second time zone could be read. Hi I was wondering how to spot a real blue bezel, one thing wich always get's my attention is the nr 6 , also whenever I see one they are mostly deep blue. in this thread in this sub-forum in the entire site I tried to order a BP 1680 red submariner but I guess all vintage BP rolexes are out of stock right now. Ended up getting a JKF and overall I'm pretty happy. Less aged look on the dial but the case is nice. If you're looking to tighten up the bezel, you can order a replacement bezel spring for less than 15 bucks.
