If you want better movement/less back play & a more solid click, snag a bezel click spring pin (317-116660). You remove the bezel so you can remove the insert, and most likely damage the hytrel ring in the process. if the insert is glued in with tape you can carefully work it loose. If its friction fit it needs to be pressed out and the risk of breaking jumps very high.
