You got them for free; are you willing to spend some money to get them performing in tip top shape? As mentioned audiokarma and audiocircles are probably some of the better forums. For what it's worth, I bought a new pair of LV 1020's in 1973. They were and still are the best speaker I have ever heard. I sold them in 1984 and have been chasing that sound ever since.
