If someone wants to buy any modern model of Rolex, it can easily be found...but obviously at a premium price. That's why it's laughable when you see an ad for something like a 2021 Panda Daytona and it says RARE! Rolex’s business model is based on selling new watches at wholesale to ADs and demand for new Rolexes still far outpaces supply. There is a core Rolex customer who will still stand in line for what they want. I see local smaller shops advertising for women’s Rolex and other brands they sell. I don’t ever see them advertise for men’s Rolexes. Which makes sense because the person making the advertising decision is likely the store owner. Nowadays when someone posts a new watch it's pretty standard to get asked how long they waited and if they had an "established relationship" etc. It's not everyone's favorite topic but it's a fair question, so maybe these big threads can provide a clearer picture of availability trends. Try to reach out to some of these fellow forum members and ask if they can get a watch for you. If they are receiving calls more frequently from AD's offering watches these members either pass on the watch, or buy what's offered and .
