And I say this as an exp39 owner (and a DJ non-owner) Explorer for versatility. It’s my one and only Rolex. Easy to change the look with the bracelet and different straps. Depends on existing collection. But if only one datejust 41 or 36 all night long. I like the OP 39 better than explorer 1 as well.

41. Fits my wrist well. Looks/feels more substantial to me than the 36. The dial is bigger and allows the cyclops to breath more. Also think trends continue for men 39/40 and up. Fluted with jubilee for me - really pops and is the classic look. Plus I have a 114060 with the oyster. Blue dial is truly amazing.
