Here’s a brief review in no particular order: Today I will share with you my thoughts on the specific quality of all currently available 36mm Datejust and Daydate Replicas, compare them to the (vintage) Bulova Seville Homage (available as Datejust or Daydate) and conclude why I would choose one over another. I have noticed a lot of interest in vintage DateJust builds recently, and I thought it a good time to start a dedicated thread to collect experiences and options. and, of course, to showcase some of the amazing builds on this forum.

The 36mm datejust series was always competed by the old factories GM and EW before, Since the second half of last year, as the two top factories VS and Clean joined the 36mm datejust camp, you guys has more choice in this series. ARF seems to be the consensus best. The flaw has always been the DW. Some have said recent batches have skinnier numbers (this is good). Others have said there isn’t much improvement (some numbers look better, others still aren’t right). But it doesn’t matter. If it bothers you, I think a gen DW can be found for about 0.
