If you do it, it's no problem to return it back to the original finish again as long as you find a competent watch tech to do your work. Much prefer the brushed lugs which were oem on that year watch. Don't like to polish the lugs to make something look more modern or otherwise. Plus the polished surface shows scratches far easier.

Anyone out there have the bracelet and the lugs brushed so the finish is more like that of an Explorer I? I have certified Rolex dealer that says he has done it for a few folks, but I wanted to see some pics and hear some tales.
