36 is a classic DJ, 41 is just a Rolex watch, released as a tribute to fashion. For me I’ve always liked my watches to be around the 40mm mark but that’s a personal preference. All I would say is if the 36mm sings to you and you like the feel of it buy it. To me the 41 simply has too large of a dial to be handsome. And I say this as an exp39 owner (and a DJ non-owner) Explorer for versatility. It’s my one and only Rolex. Easy to change the look with the bracelet and different straps. Depends on existing collection. But if only one datejust 41 or 36 all night long. I like the OP 39 better than explorer 1 as well.
