Malt liquor is a type of mass market beer with high alcohol content, most closely associated with North America. Legally, it often includes any alcoholic beverage with 5% or more alcohol by volume made with malted barley . In common usage, it refers to beers of high alcohol content, generally above 6%, which are made with ingredients and processes resembling those for American-style lagers.
The new 40mm Explorer is definitely on my radar from the new releases (that and the 42mm Ti Yachtmaster). I've been looking at 39mm Mk 2 Explorers for a while but haven't pulled the trigger. If the Explorer 36 suits and fits you, you’re in luck because it also saves you €400. The retail price of the Explorer 36 is €7,250, while the Explorer 40 has a price tag of €7,650. We discussed the price difference here because €100 per extra millimeter is a bit of a weird one. Hands-On Rolex Sizes Up A Classic (Again) With The New 40mm Explorer. It's gone from 36mm to 39mm to 36mm.and now all the way up to 40. The Explorer 39 had slightly different proportions from the Explorer 36 in my opinion, which made the watch look less elegant. The Explorer 40 appears to have a sleeker design, but as always, the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
The Explorer 36 has a more compact dial with smaller hour markers and hands, giving it a refined look. In contrast, the Explorer 40 boasts a bolder dial layout with larger hour markers and hands, enhancing readability. Having both options in both 39 and 36 would be ideal. Just like how day dates are available in 36 and in 40. No longer waitlists or under supply problems at all and much more happy customers. What I agree with most is how the dial is too cluttered on the 36. In fact, in this new large format, Rolex has kept the Explorer text up at 12 o'clock on the dial (the 39 model moved it above the chronometer certification text). That means we now have two models in the Explorer range, in two sizes .
With slightly more refined proportions than the previous 39mm generation, the new Rolex Explorer 40 reference 224270 doesn’t feel all that much larger than its plus-sized predecessor, and it is the perfect option for anyone who loves the current Explorer 36, but simply wishes that it was a little bit bigger.
