Instead, I contacted Breitling's customer service, and Breitling picked up the tab to have the watch shipped back to them. They also expedited the repair, and it has worked perfectly ever since. Actually I find it easier to fix up a brushed finish.. you just use a 15 and 30 micron polishing cloth or a nail polishing block or a fiberglass refinishing pen, and its back to new. without those tiny hairlines that plague polished bracelets . Breitling are absolute scrap. They are completely aware of crown problems and fail to solve it, because they get £800 to fix it. I’ve had a Sthurling automatic chronograph for 10 years. £99 and never missed a beat or lost a minute.
